On July 1, 2026, representatives of the National Anti-Doping Agency (ANAD), acting as trainers, conducted an anti-doping information and education seminar intended for athletes and coaches within the Boxing Federation of the Republic of Moldova. The activity was carried out at the request of the Boxing Federation of the Republic of Moldova, inside the boxing hall of the Athletics Arena in the municipality of Chișinău (26 Andrei Doga Street). The seminar was organized pursuant to Law No. 24/2023 on the prevention and combating of doping in sport, the Regulation on the organization and functioning of the National Anti-Doping Agency, approved by Government Decision No. 665 of September 6, 2023, as well as in accordance with ANAD Order No. 12-B of December 11, 2025, regarding the approval and publication of the Prohibited List for the year 2026. The training seminar was delivered by Daria Ursachi and Maria Frunze, principal specialists within the Education and Services for Athletes Department of ANAD. During the seminar, topics related to the principles of clean sport, the rights and responsibilities of athletes, the anti-doping control process, the risks associated with the use of prohibited substances and methods, as well as the importance of complying with anti-doping regulations in high-performance sport were addressed. The seminar encouraged open dialogue between the trainers and participants, providing boxing athletes and coaches with the opportunity to clarify essential aspects regarding the application of anti-doping rules and to consolidate their knowledge in this field. At the end of the activity, the participants completed an evaluation questionnaire aimed at verifying the level of understanding and assimilation of the presented information. By conducting these educational activities, ANAD reaffirms its commitment to supporting integrity in sport, promoting a culture based on fair play, responsibility, and respect for the principles of clean sport. At the end of the seminar, the participants were presented with certificates of participation.
