On July 2, 2026, representatives of the National Anti-Doping Agency (ANAD), acting as trainers, conducted an anti-doping information and education seminar for the athletes of the "Sheriff" Sports Club. The activity took place at the request of the "Sheriff" Sports Club, on the premises of the "Sheriff" Sports Complex in the city of Tiraspol, with 55 athletes participating in the seminar. To ensure the smooth running of the activity, translation into English and French was provided.
The seminar was organized pursuant to Law No. 24/2023 on the prevention and combating of doping in sports, the Regulation on the organization and functioning of the National Anti-Doping Agency, approved by Government Decision No. 665 of September 6, 2023, as well as in accordance with ANAD Order No. 12-B of December 11, 2025 regarding the approval and publication of the Prohibited List for the year 2026.
The training seminar was delivered by the trainers delegated by ANAD. During the activity, topics were addressed regarding the principles of clean sport, the rights and responsibilities of athletes, the anti-doping control process, the risks associated with the use of prohibited substances and methods, as well as the importance of complying with the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) anti-doping rules in high-performance sports.
