On July 15, 2026, representatives of the National Anti-Doping Agency (ANAD), acting as trainers, conducted an interactive anti-doping education lesson as part of the "Urban Camp" project, aimed at young athletes aged between 8 and 13. The activity was held at the request of the National Olympic and Sports Committee of the Republic of Moldova (CNOS), at the CNOS headquarters in Chișinău (11 Pușkin Street).

The activity was organized pursuant to Law No. 24/2023 on the Prevention and Combating of Doping in Sports, the Regulation on the Organization and Functioning of the National Anti-Doping Agency, approved by Government Decision No. 665 of September 6, 2023, and in accordance with ANAD Order No. 42-B of May 20, 2026, regarding the approval of the national program for anti-doping education, information, and prevention.

The lesson was delivered by Maria Frunze and Rodica Gavriluța, principal specialists within ANAD. In an interactive format tailored to their age group, the 30 participating children discovered the principles of clean sport and Olympic values, what doping means and why it is prohibited, the rights and responsibilities of athletes, the risks associated with using prohibited substances and methods, as well as the importance of a healthy lifestyle and adhering to fair-play rules from an early age.

The lesson encouraged open dialogue between the trainers and participants, providing the young athletes with the opportunity to ask questions and consolidate their knowledge in an accessible and engaging manner. At the end of the activity, the participants filled out an evaluation questionnaire designed to verify their level of understanding and retention of the presented information.

Through these educational activities, ANAD reaffirms its commitment to supporting integrity in sports by promoting, from an early age, a culture based on fair-play, responsibility, and adherence to the principles of clean sport. At the end of the lesson, the participants were awarded certificates of attendance.
